*fail*
Let's see... I'm fairly accomplished today.

I turned in my assignment for Creative Writing and was active in the workshopping discussion.
I put in my two-week notice of resignation at work.
I got a first draft of an essay written up for my Advanced Essay class.
I FELL ON MY ASS.

Yeah, seriously, I almost killed myself on the ice this morning. Not a great thing ^^;.

When walking on a sidewalk near the dormitories while talking to my dad on my cell phone, I stepped on a curb and suddenly my legs went flying out from under me >.>;. Some girl was passing right by me when it happened, and she's all "OHMYGODAREYOUOKAAAAAAAAY?!?!?!" It was fairly amusing XD;. I sat there for a moment, told my dad (who was still connected on my cell phone) to wait a second, and stood up. After taking a deep breath, I told the girl I was okay, and walked on to class whilst resuming my phone conversation with my dad XD;.

Of course, I thought this was a fairly funny incident, so when the secretary at the Learning Center asked me why my jeans were soaked (damn melty ice), I told her about how I fell. She cried out "Oh no!" and then immediately picked up the phone and called campus security o.O;;;. So security came down to the Learning Center, and I had to do a formal report on the how/where of my fall, plus my assessment of if I was okay or not. I was completely mortified that I had to give security a report on my clumsiness, so I just decided screw-it, and I gave them a dramatic reinterpretation of the event, since that seemed possibly amusing ^o^. And it was, as I made the security guards laugh in disbelief XD;.

Anyway, hopefully I won't wake up and not be able to walk or something horrible like that ^^;;;. I'm going to class anyway! *has her assignments done*

Two of the Japanese exchange students, Sayaka and Chika came over to our dorm to watch some movies. It turns out Sayaka is going to be one of my new students I'll be tutoring at the Learning Center, so I'm excited about that ^_^. The sessions with Aya and Mako are always entertaining, so I'm sure this will be too.

eff you, neck. eff you, weather.
Okay, so my boss has me working only on Saturdays and Sundays right now, which is fine since my weekday schedule is fairly hectic. But last Sunday I wasn't able to go to work becaaaa~use-- *drumroll*--

I woke up, and wasn't able to move my head! I thought I was in some sort of paralysis dream at first, but then I was all painpainpain, and I've never had any dreams where real pain occurs. After a few tests (*turns head to the right* ... *turns head to the left* OWWWWWW!!!), I realized that some muscle along the left side of my neck did not want to move. At the end of the day when it was time to go to sleep, I dug out some Hydrocodone from my last hospital trip, and was able to sleep happily/deliriously XD. Now, a few days later, my neck is okay. WTF, BODY??? I HATE YOU TOO.

Anyway, it's freakishly cold outside. This would not be surprising, except it was 60 degrees F out this morning, and now it's under 20 degrees F @_@;. I think some deities are banning against Missouri, and are trying to wipe us out with strange weather ^^;. *WILL SURVIVE!*

bad ==> semi-ludicrous
So, from yesterday, not the best day I've had, I have arrived at today, a semi-ludicrous day.

I went to this tutor training class (which is compromised of me and 3 other... interesting? guys)... Dr. Holmes, the head honcho lady at the Learning Center was teaching class. Near the end of the class, when she was wrapping up everything, she said "Oh, and one more thing!" and then went on this weird spiel about not having tutor-tutee romantic relationships. And she looked at me WAY more than the guys when she was saying all of that. And after saying everything on that subject, she turned and looked at me and said "Do you understand?" with a meaningful look in her eye. *NEARLY FELL OUT OF HER CHAIR!* She basically directed all that at me... Oh my god. I am incredibly amused by the fact that Dr. Holmes thinks I want to create such... steamy situations XD. "Tutor Room Tryst"... I can see it now <3.

On a less amusing note-- I went to the mall to grab some dinner at Camille's, and when I came back out, SOMEONE HAD THROWN RANCH DRESSING AT MY CAR. A little cup of it. The cup was sitting upside-down, directly in the middle of the roof of my car, half its contents pooling around it. The other half of its contents were running down my driver's-side window, and ALL OVER THE HANDLE. So gross-- I was pissed. Kids are such punks these days! *waves her cane at them, and shouts irritably*

On a happier note... I got to say "I'm sorry, but rainbow-hopping unicorns would not be appropriate" in response to someone's comment in my World Poetry class this morning XD. THAT'S THE ONLY TIME I'LL TELL SUCH LIES THOUGH, omg, rainbow-hopping unicorns are ALWAYS appropriate <3.

In Japanese class today... EUGENE DID NOT SHOW UP. How do you not show up to a class where there are TWO of you? My god ^^;. So basically I just got Dr. Hou to tell me the answers to my homework, and he spent 10 minutes explaining what a clutch is and how it works on a manual car (the homework had a bunch of car terms in it), because I've only driven automatic cars XD. There was an elaborate diagram drawn on the board, as well as lots of motions of foot-to-clutch action and sound effects made, but I still have no idea how it works really XD;. Oh well, it was quite amusing ^o^.

Now for homework! *hops away to get down to some serious reading*
