My lesson yesterday went fairly well... except for the fact that the girl I taught, her English level was well below what they told me we would be teaching >.>;. I got really nervous and nearly panicked when I realized that she wasn't comprehending 75% of the vocabulary I was using for the lesson ^^;;;. We got through it, though, and she seemed to enjoy the lesson fairly well. She also told me that, with her limited English, I needed to relax XD;. She also told me my hands were doing THIS, and then she mimed her hands shaking really hard XDD;;;. WHOOPS! I think that was the point when I panicked, because I kinda flung a marker out of my hands with all my shake-uh-shakaing ^^;;;.
Today was totally the highlight of my stay in Vancouver, though... zoesque graced me with her presence, and we got to hang out for awhile ^_^. I thought perhaps I was terrifying her, but then again, that's part of the M experience, so oh well XD;. SORRY ZOE! We had amazing drinks (omg, such an amazing drink <3 <3 <3) and coffees and treks through underground malls, and it was an entertaining time overall ^o^. And we talked about kishmet and disutansu, because LJers can't meet up without talking about other LJers XD.
So yes, it was a fun span of time during my not-quite-fantastic time in Vancouver XD;. Hopefully I won't get sick for 50% of the time and have rigorous training next time, if I get to come back some day!
Anyway, I need to get back to packing... it's already almost 2am, and I gotta drag my sorry self out of bed at 7:30am tomorrow morning to get ready for another fun day of airplane riding... -.o;. Not looking forward to it, but at least I'll be back in Japan soon ^o^. Oh, the sacrifices I make (like my health... thank god I found my dramamine <3).
So yeah... whenever I get to post next, I'll be in Japan! How psycho is that XD;? *excited*
OYASUMI ^_^! Err... JA NE! *goes back to packing*
