#26 - Under your skin for 30_cracks... Cause Kaidoh wants under Inui's paint. Get it, get it? *nudgenudgewinkwink* Yeah, don't worry if you don't, cause I don't either.
Note: Beta'd by disutansu, cause she ish teh cool ^_^. *glomples* She also sat through me writing this off the top of my head on AIM, so I commend her ^^.
When it came to “scary things,” Kaidoh was frightened most of the time... but right now, he was more worried about his lack of fright.
Standing before him was Inui-senpai, although he was different than usual.
Not different in the sense of character. He was still observing everyone, adding more data into his notebook. More different... in the sense that the hand he was writing with was green. So were his face, arms, and any other patch of skin he could see. Not only was his skin green, but there were also screws protruding quite grotesquely from his neck. Fake blood was dripping from them, but Kaidoh was more interested in the actual column of throat they were connected to. There was nothing like painting one’s entire neck green to make it stand out. Kaidoh shook his head, because no-- he wasn't staring. And if he was, it was because he was SCARED! Most definitely quaking in his Pumas.
"Ah, so I see you've noticed my costume."
Kaidoh coughed. "Umm... Yes, senpai... What is it?"
"Ah, it’s a monster from a book called Frankenstein written by--" and Kaidoh was automatically in that little mental happy place he went to when Inui started explaining things.
Although, this time, the happy place didn’t only involve a non-explanatory Inui, but there was also green greasepaint. And neck bolts.
"--have also been many movies made about it... Kaidoh?"
Inui adjusted his glasses, leaving a green spot on the frames where his fingers had touched.
"Are you alright?"
One of Kaidoh's eyes was quite clearly twitching, and a low, constant 'ffshuuu' was emitting from his lips. Inui flipped his notebook open to the pages about Kaidoh's expressions. From the collected data, he labeled the other’s actions as "Inner Turmoil."
Inui quite nearly dropped his notebook, as his kouhai's hand quite suddenly shot out and wrapped around his wrist. He wished he had the chance to write some more notes on Kaidoh's abnormal behavior. As it was, he was having a hard time keeping up with Kaidoh, whom was dragging him down the school hall. Data book was clutched tightly to Inui's chest by the time they arrived at their destination.
"Gomen, senpai," Kaidoh said, backing Inui into a free stall. He didn't really feel very apologetic though.
How far down did that greasepaint actually go? Would it be warm, heated up by Inui's skin? If Inui was going to force him to think dirty thoughts all day, he would just have to suffer the consequences.
Kaidoh's tongue flicked out, tasting a bolt. Inui dropped his notebook and slid the lock shut on the door.
Kaidoh felt like he was getting over his paranormal fears already. He had such a good senpai.
