Ahhhhhh, I'm so looking forward to going to Japan now >.>;! Me and Noa's friend (Josh) knows the girl who went to Gakushuin last semester, and he got her (Michelle) to come sit with us at dinner tonight. I'm a lot less nervous now about some things, and she was able to tell us a whole lot more about the experience than our college correspondents could. Plus, she's going to tell me where all the good yaoi doujinshi and manga stores that are close to the dorms ^.^V. *cough* She was really nice, and we all swapped e-mail addresses for future abuse. She didn't know that much Japanese either when she went (although she knew more than we do ^^;), so that's a relief that she was still able to do well in her classes and navigate herself around Tokyo (not perfectly, but she didn't get permanently lost ^^;;;). I'm gonna do my best, but it'll be a huge help that me and Noa will be there together. Surely we twill be able to survive ^^. I gotta go get my passport tomorrow, because no one told us that we're supposed to get it months in advance @_@.

No worries, I shall tell you guys as much as I can remember ^^. I'll be keeping a journal too, so maybe I'll e-mail some of that to ya too. Oh dear, I'm afraid of how much doujinshi and manga I might buy ^^;;;. But no worries, I shant go bankrupt. I'll just be happy with being able to swim in mass amounts of cute dj's ^^.

The foreign exchange program for my college is one of the reasons that I chose the college I'm at. It costs the same as one semester at my college, as to go to the college in Japan, which-- let me tell you, is a HUGE price difference @_@. Over the summer, my sensei is taking a group of kids to Japan, and it is going to cost $4,000. I'm going to Japan for 4 months, and it is going to cost about $4,000 (plus, my scholarships can help pay it off). There are a lot of unseen expenses (plane ticket-- which I am working to get a grant from the school for, passport, blah blah etc.), I'm sure, but I can't pass up a chance like this >.>;. Definitely look into your school's foreign exchange program, because if your school has a direct exchange program with a certain college, you might be able to save a lot of money ^^.

If I post in my LJ while I'm in Japan, I'll just post in this one. So if you wanna see about my trip, just check and see if I've posted every now and then while I'm there ^_^.
